w80 wont power on

ok so i picked up some w80's that dont power on even with a fully charged battery. one of them the screen backlight flashes for a second as soon as a battery is pushed in. the other one doesnt.

any tips on its repair? or should i just find some more parts cameras that power on and start  the frankenstein process?
