Any chainsaw experts want some holiday $$
« on: November 14, 2020, 05:32:44 PM »
Long story short, I have a stihl 066 that will be a mill saw. Took on trade & needed a top end so decided a full re-build was in order. I've purchased everything to rebuild minus a carb kit & a caged needle bearing for piston.
The bottom end will need to be split for new seals & bearings. I have everything you would need. I've ordered all factory parts.
What I don't have, other the the 2 minor parts mentioned, are time, case splitter & bearing press.
Not looking for someone to "take a stab at it". You MUST KNOW what your doing. We can work out assembly fee.

My father works for a company with a small engine shop, in Everett
Turned my 088 into a complete beast, almost scary
One shot. One kill!

Located in North  Bend. May have talked West Coast saws into putting it back together, but will jump back on here if it doesn't shake out. I'm not in a rush.
Thanks
