Hiding in Plain Sight

I was hiking a trail and spotted this buck right off the bat.   I worked closer for a couple pics then circled him and got above him.  There are actually three bucks hiding there.  I had no idea.  Still cant see them.  Anyhow, a trail goes fairly close to them and they sat there while a masked up couple walked by completely unaware of either the deer watching them, or the creeper up in the rocks. LOL

Very cool pic.  You've got a good eye for framing (which we already knew).  The chiaroscuro effect (light contrasted against dark) of the original photo with horizontal feel of the lay of the land really captures the eye. The yellow/orange brush almost gives it a colorized effect often used on older black and white photos.   :tup:

just to the right and up of the smooth perfectly shapped rock in the shadows it looks like an eye and ear.  looks like a deer to me...
