First Coyote with an Electronic Caller..
« on: November 22, 2020, 03:19:35 PM »
Got my first coyote using a Lucky Duck Revolt.  Played a little jack rabbit distress sound and about 15 minutes into the stand he came in.  Shot him in Okanogan County in the Sinlehekin.  New to calling in predators.  Hammered him with a 243.  Very fun!

Cheers!!

Nice!  243 is more than enough horsepower for any yote.  Puts em down with authority.  Great varmint cartridge for anybody whose not whacking them with selling furs in mind.

Nice! A solid chest hit from a 243 = bang flop.

The fur looks great on your coyote. Congratulations

I'm actually hoping for a cougar so the 243 is in the right ballpark.  Got lucky and whacked him the head so the fir stayed in tact.  :-)
