I am interested in learning more about night vision equipment.
I know very little and I am trying to figure out where to start.
Does anyone have insights or good sources of info?
Uses:
-Looking at things a civilian can purchase
-Interested in something for nighttime navigation (walking, driving, etc)
-Night time predator/hog hunting (where legal)
-Not really thinking about prices or anything - I just want to understand the technology.
Some initial questions
-What are the benefits of the different Generations?
-I assume a head mounted monoscope is probably the best - how does this work with firearms? How is the flash suppressed to not blind/destroy night vision?
