Love mine, it's saved me from putting crummy food on the table a few times.😉  Last night's pork tenderloin was one of them.

What makes it worth $60-80 when I can buy a digital meat thermometer at WinCo for $10 and it works every time? Not attacking, just asking. :dunno:

its gooder! I have had horrible luck with cheap thermometers, I am going to order one of these and hope its more accurate and more durable than the cheap ones.

Going through 1 or 2 cheap $10-$20 ones each year makes it worth it to me.

You guys have pretty bad luck with thermometers, for sure! Thanks for the link, though. When this one kicks the bucket, I'll take a look at a better one.

I went through several crappy off the shelf thermometers before I finally purchased a thermapen. There’s a reason you see them in the pocket of most chefs. They’re very fast and very accurate. I like them so much that they’ve become my go to for Xmas and bday gifts when they go on sale.

My wife actually uses it in the house more than I do on the GMG or Weber.
