Anybody use the floating colony traps? Mike Matinee makes them look like they are the real deal. Just would like some reviews.

I have 4 of them they work well in ponds and lakes but they stick out like a sore thumb which makes them disappear easily

Yes mike's traps are great and put up numbers. Spendy yes but worth it. Iv tried to copy it and haven't had any luck in the same pond where his traps were set. His caught, mine didn't haha

Mine don't have the sheet metal cover (that will be changed soon) and my first door design is a standard colony gravity door. The next one I built is a flip up door like his that I have yet to try out
