Squid Jigs
« on: December 05, 2020, 08:25:45 PM »
I'm looking at finding a seller for squid jigs. Primarily looking for unweighted jigs and maybe a couple weighted. Anybody know anyone making and selling jigs in the Pierce county area. I'd rather buy from a good maker rather than store bought. Thanks for any help

Also if any reports out there from anybody recently that would be great. Always nice to hear how people are doing. Its a blast to do but haven't done it in a few years.

Try Larry cluster at puget sound squid fishing on Facebook if you do that.

Thanks for the replies. I like kingsquidjigs site. And I'm thinking about going this route. Now its got me thinking about making my own from the supplies Larry sells. I've got to check that out. I don't think it would be hard and it would be rewarding with savings in cost.
I'll probably by some pre-made for now and make some in the future.

I met Larry Cluster at king squid jigs today and let me tell you I was blown away at what he had to offer. Super cool guy and he set me up. Local to me as well so he will have my buisiness for future needs. Thanks for the help and tips guys.

Now I also found out that my squid pier closed and have to come up with another plan to hit another area. Any suggestions on thoughts of where might be good. I've got some options but trying to make the best of this trip since I've never hit any other place then my go to. Thanks guys.

Checked out the water this evening and it was pretty slow for everyone where I was. I did get 2 on Larry's bottom jig and considered it a success with how slow things were out there.
Surprised that the state is keeping this fishery open with how packed it gets.

Any suggestions on areas that could be doing good right now. I may try again later in the week.
