Believe it, or not, there are people stupid enough to pay it.

I waited a long time for this rig to come out and they kept delaying for years. Ended up buying a Jeep. Glad I did. There’s no way I would pay that kind of money.

Got a new Rubicon Gladiator for no markup, $54k out the door.  Sure wouldn't pay more for that Bronco but if you are a Ford man......  But if Jeep get the Mojave the Rubicon rides a bit rougher.  Too bad they don't put the 4 cyl turbo in the gladiator.

The wife and I just bought a 2021 'used' bronco sport outter banks, 48 miles on it.  Came from Canada, bought at the chevy dealer.   I wasnt a fan of it and wanted the GMC acadia AT4, but its for the wife and she really liked it.  Rides nice so far and pretty comfortable for the most part.  No leg room on the passenger side and im only 6' tall.  Cant stretch my legs all the way out.  I will be spending little to no time in that passenger seat anyway, so not that big a deal.

Shes happy with it, thats all that matters.

After riding in my brothers ‘21 Rubicon Wrangler with the diesel, it would for sure be above the Bronco on my list. I was a day one hour one reservation for a wildtrak. All the BS (MIC hardtop issues and no x plan) I said nope and cancelled my reservation. Ford continues to botch this launch which makes me very glad I cancelled. Not building in reservation order like they claimed they would because dealers crying due to some dealers getting a ton of reservations. Man just talking about it makes me mad. I just traded my one and only ford in and will never ever own another because of the way it’s been handled. Yes I’m that petty :chuckle:

There are definitely things Ford could have done and could do better with the rollout. Every manufacturer is having a hard time keeping new rigs on the lot, and pricing has jumped.

This purchase is between a 4Runner and a bronco…. Positives on a bronco is 7 speed manual, better fuel economy and styling. Positives on the 4 runner are 3rd row, classic reliability.

We will see when we test drive a couple.

If you don’t have a reservation number, you won’t be able to order one for a very long time is what I’ve heard. Some dealers will be getting some inventory broncos but they won’t be custom ordered. You get what you get. We’ll be getting them. The 2nd sticker ones marked up 20k are either dealers who created phony orders to get them or other used car lots. Park Place in Bellevue has 3 of them including a first edition with 63 miles on it for $109k. Pretty sure someone ordered it and sent it directly to them for consignment to make $20-30k.

I’d also guess that the bronco fiasco isn’t too far different from anything right now. Takes 6-9 months to get a custom order super duty too.

@Jackelope what's the point of the stupid removable black " Fin " on the top of the front fenders?

I think they're just for tie downs aren't they?  It's a minor detail and I believe they are removeable, hopefully they don't leave a gap when removed, but I find them kind of annoying to look at.  I don't own one so it's no big deal but if I did, they'd be the first thing I removed.

Man, I'm trying like he11 to see Gen1 Bronco in those things but all I see when I look at one of these things is 80 Series Scout.  Maybe it's just me but go look up pics of some 80 Series International Scouts and tell me they don't look more like one of those than a Gen1 Bronco.

Tie downs as far as I know. For a canoe or something like that on the roof. I don’t think they’re removable.

This is crazy. I can’t imagine how much that cost to do.

Ohhh I thought they once said they were removable but I imagine if you did it would leave a gap.
