What’s your go to choke and shot size? I’ve been using modified and #2 shot for ducks this year with good luck. Haven’t done any goose hunting yet

Same as h2o here, currently shooting a .720 (Improved) with Winchester #3s, been very happy with that combo. I have a .710 (Modified) and #2s for longer shots, but neither have made it out of the garage for some time now.

I shoot a modified and #2’s black cloud. It’s impressive how is smacks em so much harder further out. It just jumps on em. I really like the step ups from the ol’ federal steel shot. I would probably go #3’s for ducks though. Kinda like I shoot #5’s for pheasant...makes me feel good is all. Not quite the 6’s (might be further out you know) and not quite the #4’s (might have a closer shot, ya know.).

Factory IC or CL choke 3" Federal Red box 2's. Go pattern that load at 40 yards. My Benelli SBE3 rocks it 70/30 pattern with about 90% in the 30" circle.

3/8 oz of #6 steel. Works like a charm
9/16 oz #4 bismuth
Ducks fall dead with the 410. IC and modified.

Tss has worked amazing for me as well in the 410. I'm just out of shells. I will reload those in future for sure. Nothing better. I've even rocked turkeys out to 30 yards stone dead with number 9s.

IM or full with 1’s-2’s. I learned on a full choke from the age of 9. I hate sounding ducks. I would rather miss.
