gwp wont point

I made the mistake of taking a 6mo old pup to a pheasant release site,  she wasn't solid on point yet.   She'd point, then bust. 

Turned out she limited me out and I didn't fire a single shot,  she caught all three birds.   All three birds had pellets in them but still alive. 


Don't take a dog in training to a release site, the birds can't get up quick enough to avoid a quick dog.
