New hunter
« on: December 02, 2020, 09:35:27 PM »
Hello everyone, I’m a brand new hunter, I grew up shooting and outdoors but never got into hunting.
However I’ve decided I’d like to try out coyote hunting this next year.
I’m looking for any and all advice in regards to how to get into this sport. Locations?
Is it possible to stay on the west side of the Mtn? I’m not adverse to going east side just thinking it’d be nice to get more hunts in if it’s more local.

What gear would everyone recommend or say is a necessity starting out?

Also maybe any recommendations on educational materials(ex. Books) to learn more about coyote/small game hunting in general if that sort of thing even exist.

Thanks in advance everyone, I’m really looking forward to getting into this new hobby and seeing where it takes me.
