Choice ammunition
« on: December 20, 2020, 07:33:56 AM »
I’m looking at ordering a couple boxes of 180gr accubonds for my tikka 300wm. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this company, or had any other suggestions that don’t involve me getting into hand loading. I would like to someday but I don’t have the time right now.

I ordered some ammo for my 6.5 prc that I ended up giving to my nephew before I could try it. It was backordered at the time I ordered but it showed up at my house just over a week later. The ammo shot really well out of my nephews gun (sub moa) though I dont recall the velocity but I think it was really close to what they advertised. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again based off my limited experience.

Choice ammo good to go. I had good experience with them. Consistent loads vs regular factory ammo. If you don’t want to get in reloading, and want to get best of from your rifle look in to Unknown Munitions. Simple Ladder test will shows what best for your rifle. And they load per need it specs. If you buy 100rd custom ammo with ADG brass. They will reload for you and cost savings 1$ per round every time. ADG brass can be reloaded up to 20 time without loosing tolerance.

Not a fan. Bought a box at Cabelas for my 6.5 CM, shot great at the range. Went deer hunting and squeezed one off on a nice buck only to have it go “click”. Dented the primer, but failed to go off. That had never happened with this gun before, and chalked it up to just a fluke. Later that day, shot a buck at 110 yards, hit him right in the shoulder standing broadside. He humped up and took two jumps and disappeared. I assumed he just went down in the sage brush and walked over to find him. No blood, nothing. Searched for hours, and since there was open wheat fields in all directions, i assumed he was down somewhere on the sage brush knob I was on. Saw him four days later with the rest of the group, walking with a slight limp. My only conclusion is that there wasn’t the correct amount of powder and didn’t penetrate the shoulder blade. Maybe another fluke.....not going to chance using their ammo again.
