I just ordered mine. 👍 Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait to test some out. Also I was able to order some cheddite 3inch hulls when they had them. So now I just have to decide where to order #6 steel. I will order tss from BP when they have both 9s and 7s in stock.

I am in similar boat.  Going to reload some 410 TSS for a friend's daughter for her first spring turkey hunt.  Found the hulls and wads this week, just placed another 10lb order of TSS with Hal (as my #7 and #9 TSS supply is getting low....but I normally only load in 12ga) so should have that next week.

Now my only problem:  POWDER.

I have TSS recipes for Lil Gun, Alliant 410, Win 269, H110, and 300-MP.  Yet I don't have any of those powders.  I begged Hal for a recipe with Steel or Longshot (my regular 12 gauge powders), but he said in his pressure testing those powders didn't play nice with 410 TSS loads.

So since no online store in America has any powder it appears, I'll be trolling all the brick and mortar stores for some or will try the bartering route.   Anybody get any line on powder for 410 at nearby stores please let me know....Worst case I did find a couple of boxes of 410 TSS factory ammo that she can use, but I was hoping to load her a lighter load for her first hunt (she's small).

I moved down to central OR last fall from Issaquah.   So will be hitting up all the Bi Marts, Sportsmans, etc. between LaPine and Madras to check on powder.  If I go the barter route, I'm guessing Win 269 or H110 might be easier to come by than the others.

Cost is a big factor. Like many options. But using bismuth as well with good results and easy to load with. With the tps wads from ballistic products we can load steel or tss shot using same wad. Which is nice.
