Blind at Chehalis Wildlife Area
« on: December 27, 2020, 07:17:49 PM »
Has anyone hunted out of the blind at the Chehalis Wildlife Area near Elma? Wondering if the slough in front of it is shallow enough to wade for decoy deployment and (hopefully) bird retrieval.

Not sure, but do not worry about bird retrieval. You could shoot more ducks on the moon.

It’s too deep to wade. I personally wouldn’t wake up for early for that hunt.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking for an easy spot to take my kids that is close to home. Guess I'll keep looking.
