I've seen numerous taxidermist advertise on HW then quickly get overwhelmed.

It's just too easy to go from not quite enough customers to too many customers, then $$ and outsourcing work then the outsourced work goes to crap or doesn't get returned in a timely manner or bad work...

Lot's to go wrong with too many customers

I can, i know a Taxi that does some seriously impressive work but only does it for a few select people that keep him busy enough every year and wants to keep it that way.
Some people live in different tax brackets just saying.
They dont just bring him just one animal a year
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

He is expensive and doesn’t want all the calls asking what he charges. It takes a long time to do work like this. He has over 100 hours in my elk and another 100 in my moose. He can’t make money spending that much time on a piece unless he charges a bunch.

He doesn’t need the work. As stated above, he has a loyal following and they keep him busy.

I’d give wildlife creations a call, they are in Hayden Idaho.  I’ll be heading over there next week to get my hair on tan done for my bear, they are still realistic when it comes to prices.

By the way C-Money, your statement about the one legged cat is hilarious😂😂😂

awesomenous
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
