Hey guys,
Without telling my life story here, I'm looking to meet some folks in the greater Wenatchee area. Not just for hunting, but also just to have some friends to shoot the crap with. I got divorced about a year and a half ago, and over the lifetime of that relationship, nearly all of the friends I made were/became also married or had kids and are tied up with those important things. Add that on top of the pandemic, and it's been hard for me to make some friends who are like-minded and available on the weekends to go do stuff with.
A little about me:
I'm coming up on 27 years and have a house in Entiat, WA. Live here with me, myself, and my 1.5 year old lab I'm working on turning into my waterdog.
I have a career and work 40-50 hours per week, but am usually free on the weekends. I work in IT, so sometimes my Saturdays can be limited to areas with cell range so I have the ability to hotspot on my phone with my laptop for a few minutes. Kinda sucks, but that's the price I pay from time to time.
I live to hunt and ski. I've hunted since I was about 12, and skied since I was 4! I've got loads of good areas to do this or that, and I have a season pass to Mission Ridge. I dabble in fishing so I've got the gear and a kayak but I've never had the same obsession with fishing as I do with hunting. I went through a big bass fishing phase, but also have a few fly fishing areas I hit each summer.
Bought my first compound bow in January (Xpedition Archery MX-16, shout out to Todd at Big River Archery) and have been taken over with the fantasies of archery hunting big game this fall.
Music has been a huge part of my life since I was a wee lad. I mainly listen to progressive house/trance (not your usual conservative hunter genre, eh?) and hardcore/metal.
Disc golf, bowling, golf, you name it, there's probably a vein in me that has done it and enjoys it.
Anyway, looking for some people in the area I can call my friends and hang out with from time to time. Post up and let me know if you're interested, maybe we can connect on Facebook or something and go from there!
P.S. -
You'll still need to earn my hunting spots
