Elbe hills
« on: January 03, 2021, 12:01:46 PM »
Took these pics this morning in fresh snow of last night. Iv only seen a hand full of moose tracks before on the east side but I can't see these tracks being left by anything but a moose. Iv never seen an elk track this size before. My hand is near 9" long for comparison. Thoughts anybody

Moose are much more pointed at the tip. I'd say bull elk track.

Sometimes animals have big feet. Lol

This is a picture of a Blacktail buck track we found this year. Biggest I've ever seen. My friend later in the season saw the buck that made this track. Giant 3x wide and tall in the Kitsap area.

He walked within 1/4 mile of my camera whatever it was, but I couldn't get a look at what it was I tracked it half a mile before it winded me and took off into the timber. Most the elk are up in copper creek that washed out last spring. Hike in access only due to the road and it's a nasty hike

Tracks in snow always look bigger, some melting along the edges I assume is why. Looks just like every elk track I’ve ever seen. And yes there could be a giant elk wondering into that area this time of year.
