just my but i would toss the bad and give the descent to anyone that wants them.
You can mount your own, just not for profit. And they cannot be sold. I would contact the LE and ask how to gift them.
First post said he can't sell them, seems like a guy just trying to give some stuff away.
yeah and if he cant, toss them right?
I have alot of mounts that I did mostly and can't sell them because they are waterfowl, what can I do with them? Moving and dont' want to take big/bulky/fragile stuff
The law states that non edible portions of game animals and game birds may be sold or traded. With exceptions. In this case would he not be able to sell because he did a mount himself and does not have a taxidermist license? Or in general wouldn't be able to sell a bird mount. Because I see people selling mounts all the time.
I knew this would turn into a dispute somehow/someway
That makes sense. Wish the hunting regulations would state that. Funny how many duck mounts I've seen for sale online as well as antique shops and such. Assuming its ok for upland birds and turkey?

I wasn't trying to get my posts on the original posters thread off track. Sorry if its coming off that way. I am gonna try to add to the post not derail. Yes OP was just expressing wanting to give a new home. So I have a question and see many sites stating the answer to this but what's your opinion. Sites do state that you can sell legally harvested migratory bird feathers such as duck and geese for the purpose of fly tying. Any input?
You have any wood duck mounts you want to get rid of? @pjb3. Or #pjb3
I’ll take them
