I wasn't trying to get my posts on the original posters thread off track. Sorry if its coming off that way. I am gonna try to add to the post not derail. Yes OP was just expressing wanting to give a new home.

So I have a question and see many sites stating the answer to this but what's your  opinion. Sites do state that you can sell legally harvested migratory bird feathers such as duck and geese for the purpose of fly tying. Any input?

And just for clarity sake where did that screen shot come from?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Yeah this had come from code of federal regulation of fish and wildlife. I had to do some digging but found an option of what one can do with the birds feathers.
