Hey Colby how old are you? You look pretty young! Just remember when you are out there that if you see the moose frequenting an area to not bother them.  :tup:

Ya i get what you mean! :tup:  My dad has moose hunted before and he knows more than me obviously about moose hunting and we have some private property we go to and he will give me some pointers.

Here is a picture of the sheds the wife found yesterday. The story goes , on October 10th, before the modern season opened , the buck the wife had targeted to fill her tag, because of the unusual rack, shed one side. the next day he sheds the other side. Have not found his sheds. So her buck is now a  bald deer. She had to settle for her second choice. a (4 x 3 ). The sheds she found were from two bucks that I had taken a picture of on the morning of Oct 19th. That afternoon they were both bald. There went my shot of filling my Muzzleloader tag a month later. The wife says they shed to avoid getting shot. All we have left with antlers now are spikes and small 2's.

That's awesome! There's a thread on here somewhere about whether or not attached antlers have blood in them...guess this answers that question!

I think the thinning crew found it and hung it up on the flagging, not going to lie wish they would hang up all the elk sheds they find like that!!!!
