Chasing giants

For you whitetail freaks, this is worth a watch.  I thought it was a very well put together video.

Good video.  He's a lucky man to have the time and money to do that.

Commitment to 30 years of habitat work, a strong goal attitude and a pile of $.  Great job that pays benefits for all hunters.  WDFW could take a lesson

Great video. Usually when I let one go it jumps the fence into the neighbors land then 10 minutes later I hear gun shots and it's dead.

Good video. Growing deer like that must be a ton of fun. How does he know that it was a 1.5 yr old buck the first time he saw it? I had no idea a deer could grow a nice 5x5 rack as its first set of horns.

I am sure he knew the buck as a fawn and just kept track.  Lots of whitetail will grow like that first year, one reason the point minimum rule hurts long term mature buck size.  Not much genetic passage when that dumb first year 4x4 is taken as a legal buck.
