I've been watching a lot of videos on YouTube. There is a guy in Montana that seriously has it figured out. Looks like he mostly uses howls and other vocalizations for locating then he uses different distress calls after he locates them. They sometimes come into just the vocalizations. They are very territorial. Good luck. I will be in units 6,7 and 9 targeting them for the first time as soon as the snow starts melting off. Really looking forward to it.

The one downside to rabbit distress calls is they get played so much by coyote hunters that most animals have heard it a lot. Try a lot of different coyote vocals, especially challenge barks and howls. Wolves are very territorial and absolutely hate coyotes.
