2021 Elk hunting season dates
« on: February 10, 2021, 07:44:25 PM »
I have to put in for vacation tomorrow, any body have any leads on the 2021 east side Modern firearm season for 2021?

Last year was the 31st through the 8th.

The year before was the 26th through the 3rd.

Should I expect the 30th through the 7th and stick with the whole last Saturday of October to the first Sunday of November?

I was just about to ask the same thing for Westside modern, is it usually just the 1st Sat in Nov for opening day? Anyone know the answers? Thanks.

Seems to be a consistent pattern over the past several years that I've followed it for archery elk and modern rifle to follow whatever the opener is based on whatever week of the month.  It would be nice to have the regs out to make it easier to figure out and give you a little more warm fuzzy feeling that they won't change for some reason.  Always find it odd.

Yes the big game seasons for Deer and Elk open on a Saturday and are based on the first/last/second/whatever Saturday of that month. So Eastern Modern Elk opens that last Saturday of October and Western Modern Elk opens the first Saturday of November. That is always the case.
