# 2!
« on: April 19, 2009, 09:18:48 PM »
Well my season is done1 fishunt247 went out saturday mornin and were set up on 3 mature birds and i jake that were all together. after 4 set ups and  josh havin to move behind me to drag the birds callin in. They stepped out at 25 yards from me and i waited to the last and biggest bird came out and i whackked him. The jake ran awat super fast and the other 2 mature birds were confused as hell and as they were starting to run away josh missed but it was a tough shot. It was at 45 yards and movin kinda fast. But owell. We had a great mornin. Enjoy

I could run the excuses on this one, but I just flat missed. It was 45 yards, which is kinda deep. And it was walking/running. I shot behind it. If I would've led it about a foot I would've killed it. Oh well. I still get to hunt more. It was a fun hunt, from 5:30 to 8:30 on the same birds. If it wouldn't have been so thick I would've had a great shot at about 35, but there were too many trees in the way.
