Red Belted Polypore
« on: January 19, 2021, 06:49:14 PM »

Took a ride today and found this what I would call a "Red Belted Polypore Tree."
This tree has I'll bet you 20-30- polypores on it.
They started at the bottom and kept going up to the top.

The one I have my hand up to show you just how big it was I bet was 20"-25" across   :yike:
I grabbed a couple of the medium size one for me
JC   :hello:

No, but you can make a healthy tea with them.

:yeah: We've always called em Conks... Have an uncle who passed when I was a baby that was a timberfaller. He'd carve some pretty cool artwork into those things, we still have a few floating around.

I always thought they were cool to write my name on. Know of people drying them out and painting scenery on them
