I hunt every upland species in the Sawbucks, no complaints. I push through plenty of rough sagebrush, thorns, and cattails. The double fronts hold up very well, the primary material is thin and stretchy, but durable.
If you're pushing through blackberry vines on the westside I'd say go with something heavier. You will be fine with the Sawbucks for anything on the east. I do recommend ankle gaiters to keep stuff out of your socks/boots though.
