Dad's bird
« on: April 20, 2009, 04:22:53 PM »
Heres my dad first bird for the year. We set up on  2 other toms and this bird gobbled about 10 minutes befor he got off the roost and he was roosted about 80 yards above us. After about 10 minutes of some soft yelps he showed up and he killed him at 30 yards. It has a 9 inch beard and was a great hunt. Gobbled abunhc which is always a plus.

I hadn't seen those pics yet. Was that with the camera you ran over?  ;) I'm gonna have to get his camera and get the pics of the birds from today on here.
