I always carry my 45, You never know when you might be the next meal for a crazy cat. These days I see cat tracks in almost all the shed hunting spots that I go to.

I usually always carry a sidearm with me and I normally take my dog as well. I had always thought I carried the pistol to protect myself, but I went shed hunting last week and had forgot my pistol at home, once we were in the field I began seeing a lot of coyote tracks and found myself keeping my dog very close.............so maybe it isn't actually me that I am worried about protecting:dunno:
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something. You choose.

I always carry.  Never know when you run into something you weren't expecting...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
