Anyone ever pack a load like these pics are showing past the truck down into a hole only to realize their mistake then have to go back up a mountian they didn't need to climb because they took the wrong fork in the trail?Me neither 🤣(That sucked)
In the long run you save a lot of wear and tear on your body if you quarter it or bone it out. I know my Dad used to pack whole deer and goats out by making a pack out of them before they had the decent pack boards that weren't just a USFS pack board. I guess its just lack of experience.
Curious for those posting pictures of entire animals on a pack frame, why not quarter them first? I have been seeing more and more pictures of this on social media lately and don't really get it.
