Fine, I’ll make it publicly known I packed the hooves! 😂 only because I’m an idiot and seem to always forget my kill kit and use a pocket knife.

Last years quartered on the hoof Mule deer, few miles and a few thousand down to the bottom and was able to hitchhike the last 4 to the truck.

This years bone in Mule Deer plus camp, close to 6 miles and a couple thousand down. On a closed rd so not horrible. I did try to cut a fat hog between switchbacks dropping down a steep face, 2nd worst idea of the day.  :chuckle:

You should be more careful not to disclose your area.... I know exactly where that snow capped peak is.... You are sure to be overun next year !  :)

A couple from last year... two different elk and they weren’t too far so we didn’t bother with the lower legs.

2016 solo Goat hunt Boulder Wilderness, camp was about 60 pounds then added boned out quarters and entire hide with legs, was not sure what mount to do so brought the whole thing out.
