Both of these for similar reasons. Both hunts involved my Dad and I going into new areas and putting in the work to learn and be successful. Dads' elk was taken right before the hunt was over after having passed on some larger bulls earlier in the hunt. For me the memories and experiences of being there together and getting it done are the reward.

Had to do some digging to find this.... 25years old, 1st trip to Alaska.... Read a magazine article somewhere about caribou hunting drop camps with Ketchum Air.... started doing some research (pre internet for me) and made it happen. Me and a buddy each killed 2, this was my 1st.

 Awesome, that Beaver is on my list! :tup:

My favorite is the Beaver.... with a 185 skywagon as a close second

I would say it’s my 2018 WA moose. It was a raffle tag so I could still draw but most likely this was a once in a lifetime hunt.
