I was fortunate enough to fill my cougar tag this past December on a solo hunt when I called this adult female in. The first pic is a selfie I took when I first found her after tracking her blood trail about 150 yards downhill.  The 2nd image was taken by my wife when I got home that evening. I was able to pack...er...drag it out whole. An experience that I'll never forget.

Not sure why the top pic is upside down. I've tried saving multiple versions of it facing all directions but no matter what, when I post it, it is always upside down.  :dunno:

Alaska range DIY

This was a drop camp hunt. This hunt is one of my best experience’s hunting. I think it’s the general experience getting up to Alaska, then being dropped of in the middle of no where. Then chasing game that you have only seen on TV before.

Anyways if you can figure out a way to go, go for it :tup:

No he is not book. I have only harvested two animals that go all time awards. I have harvested several more that were really close to making all time awards, and either just missed it or deductions took them out.

 Once I seen the drop tines I was sold. 

We did see a bull that I feel would have went book. He was on the opposite side of the canyon and went off the back side to never be seen again.
