Another of my favorites. Little Pathfinder's first bear, Aug 2020.
I was archery hunting Idaho with some friends. I called this guy into 11 yards solo. It was epic. My first bull. At exact same time my dad was in Washington he kept calling me but I wouldn’t answer as I was stalking mine. He ended up taking an archery bull about exact same time as me. My first bull, his last as he passed away suddenly a couple years later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My first goat way back in the day. 1984 to be exact in the now closed Pratt River unit. Shot this billy solo on my 3 rd day out. Saw him a 1/2 miles across a rock basin. Ended up sneaking up and shooting him at about 30 yards out of a huge rock garden. Goat took 3 more shots from my 7mm mag, and attempted a suicide leap off a cliff. He ended up falling dead onto a tree on a sheer cliff. My proudest moment and a realization that a mature billy pound for pound is the toughest animal to kill in North America..
