Top Tier Binos

I was happy with my second tier glasses. Until a Buddy handed me his Swarovski's. Had a pair the next week and never looked back. Have a pair of Tasco's in the truck for 'loaners', sold the Leupold's. 
10x42 EL's for the wife and the mini 10's (10x25B) for me. I can keep them on and drop them inside my jacket with the cover on to protect them but can have them out in a jiffy. harder to hold steady for sure, but man! I really like the little boogers!
Wife will often not carry hers because of the size, which was the reason I went small, but will happily borrow mine when she wants to see something. The big ones are definitely better for stability and low light conditions though. Doesn't help if you won't carry them!
People don't really realize the difference between upper end and 'everything else' until they try them. For sure one of the things in life worth spending the extra money on.

Well, it looks like I’ll have a chance to buy the Zeiss victory SF again... I went shed hunting yesterday and got home late and tired. One of those “ I’ll unpack tomorrow “ situations...went to my truck this morning and everything was stolen. Zeiss binoculars, Swarovski spotter, tripod, exo pack, Sitka jacket and vest, even the chalky 3 point shed I found. *censored* jumped our gate and walked in.

i have a Leica 10x42 HDB.  at that time, 2014, the swaro range was slow and I didn't like the ergonomics.  i tried the zeiss, swaro, and leica outside and ended up with the Leica.  i think the swaro glass is faintly superior, but i can spend all day behind the leica side by side with the Swaro of my friends.   I have a swaro spotter also.  i am looking at upgrading in the next few years and will go through all 3 options again.  My only advice is to find what is most ergonomic for you.  If it isn't comfortable, you won't spend as much time behind it.   The best swaro feature with Outdoorsman is the tripod adapter.

Yeah, you just load your data via Bluetooth/app.  Once loaded into the bino you’re good to go.  Onboard atmospherics  as well.

Little foggy outside but the new swaro 12x50 slc's are cutting right through the haze. Love this setup way more than the cabelas euro spotter or hand held 10x42 el's For glassing from the cabin.
