HR 127 -link attached- take action
« on: January 28, 2021, 09:20:21 PM »
Summary: Establishes a nationwide gun registry that is searchable by the general public, mandates licensing to own or possess a firearm and requires a psychological evaluation prior to obtaining such a license, and institutes magazine & gun bans.

The bill text is finally out and HR 127 is worse than we were even speculating.

HR 127 establishes a federal firearms registration system that will be accessible by federal, state, and local governments, including the military - even the GENERAL PUBLIC! The system will track the make, model, and serial number of all firearms, their owners, the dates they were acquired, and where they are being stored.

You read that right. HR 127 would make public your most private information to anti-gunners who can then dox, harass or even attack you while knowing full well every intimate detail of your self-defense systems.

Don’t they try this every year?

I’m sure this one of many more
I don’t want to be complacent so I do voice my opinion to the legislature or bill sponsors

Might be more successful in opposition this year since the last year had so much chaos with riots and looting.  I heard that there are a lot of anti-police bills at the state level--(no police dogs, no pursuits, etc), so maybe enough people will see connections and increase opposition to infringement bills.

People are forgetting history!  This is how Hitler got his start!  Then he revoked the right to own guns then went of from there!  The person who introduced this bill is from Texas, how could a state that values its right to own and carry elect and keep electing this type of person to represent them!
This is what our fathers, grandfathers fought against in both ww1 and ww2.

When guns are outlawed then only outlaws will have guns!
The same with ammo!
The same with personal liberties

Oh man here we go again. You really shouldn’t quote false equivalences to try and make your claim. This bill is already an encroachment of our freedom and rights. History states that if anything the Nazis were less strict on gun control than their predecessors. This is a weird false claim that actually means nothing. Is Germany in 1920s the same as the US today?? Do the Germans have a right to carry and own weapons in their constitution? Do I care if they do? You can’t keep telling people they are forgetting history and then getting your history wrong. Just stick to the facts of today. Is this bill anti constitutional? Is it an encroachment of your freedoms? There ya go
“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.”

If you are not willing to die for freedom then take the word out of your vocabulary.
