How many times did you run him over?

Heard from a legitimate source that WDFW went to check out the dead wolf and it’s not a dead wolf.

“Hey, Josh, I chased down the "Dead wolf eb 90 at 47?" post on Hunt WA today with WDFW. Apparently two agency staffers checked on it this morning and determined it to be a husky, not a wolf.”

Of course it was not a wolf

WDFW employees dont pick up dead dogs off the median. They do pick up every wolf they come across. Is it still there?

What’s funny is after I posted this, a coworker came through 47 an hour later and the “husky” was gone. It sure looked like a wolf to me.... I’m by no means an expert wolf identifier though.

I saw that same carcass in the median Wednesday morning on my way home from work.  Saw it a the last second so not a good look.  If I didn't have an appointment with the well guy I would have got off at the summit and circled around.  Next time I see something like that I'll be late just to go back and confirm.  Sure was the right color if nothing else.
