I agree the 7mm-08 isn’t the most popular but it’s a well established round and offered by most rifle manufacturers. I expected to have to hunt around a little but was surprised I couldn’t find a single one available on the internet.

Plenty of Ruger Americans on gunbroker.

I have one in 7-08 and I'd put the accuracy against any thousand dollar rifle.

There are also Savage 110s around.

Under-rated cartridge, especially for youth and women, in my opinion.  My wife has one in an Encore and my daughters both have Howa 1500s.  Good luck in your search!

My sons 7-08 has taken several dozen big game animals from antelope to moose and elk. Solid choice.

That is a great caliber. My wife and my sister both shoot them and I have thought many times of owning one myself. Good luck with your search.
