Had a Supernova. Played with it one day with different brands, shot sizes and lengths of ammo all loaded together. Never jammed. Never failed to cycle. Never failed to fire.

Well, there's your difference between it and the 870!   :peep:

Had a Supernova. Played with it one day with different brands, shot sizes and lengths of ammo all loaded together. Never jammed. Never failed to cycle. Never failed to fire. Gave (yes, gave) it to a very good friend that ADORED it for his birthday one year. He crapped himself. Amazing shotguns. It is still in use today.

I had a shell casing split in the chamber after I fired with cheap ammo so it expanded and was jammed in the chamber. I took it by the pump and slammed it into the ground several times really hard and it ejected the shell out. That was like hundreds and hundreds of rounds ago and it keeps going.

You looking at strictly synthetic or are you open to wood? Pump only? I’ve found a couple youth shotguns on the internet and purchased 2 this week.
