West WA Hunting partner
« on: February 18, 2021, 12:45:20 PM »
Hey everyone. How is it going? I am looking for a hunting partner for the upcoming season. A little about me.... I am a 32 y/o active duty Army stationed at JBLM. I grew up hunting in WA so I know the area pretty well. I have been hunting on and off my whole life. I currently only rifle hunt, but I am def open to archery. I spend most of my time backpack hunting for deer and bear mostly on the east side of the state. With that said I am open to just about everything, that is just what I cut my teeth on.

The job that I have now gives me a lot more free time than I normally have and have been taking advantage of it anytime that I get. Looking for someone reliable with similar interest who would be interested in getting together and BS'ing and possibly bouncing ideas back and forth. Feel free to PM me or reply to this post. Take care

Have you looked into a fellow resident on JBLM. Seems like we get a few looking for partners, tips, etc from there

I have posted around on a few of the local Facebook groups for JBLM. More often than not I run into the issue of reliability/lack of desire to really get out there and put in the work. Growing up in WA I know some of the things that this state has to offer, where others kinda just want to day trip/ stay in the local area.
I will keep looking though. There is someone out there. Thank you. I really admire this forum. Although I do not post often, I really do enjoy reading the plethora of information scattered throughout!

Welcome to the forum! I'm twice your age and hunt like it. But good luck. Lots of great people on this forum.

Thank you for your service!!!

I'm looking into doing a 4-5 day High Buck hunt this fall, wouldn't mind a hunting partner. I'm 45, relatively new to hunting (this will be my third year), but love to be out in the woods exploring and looking for bucks to shoot at!

Shoot me a message if interested..

I got to JBLM this year as well. Looking scouting partner for fall bear, deer, and elk (eastern) if you're ever up for it. Would rather climb mountains with someone than alone. I fell short on the multi-season tag so went in with all archery to extend my seasons until I figure this State out. Did put in for some additional draws as well.

If interested shoot me a message and maybe we can meet up for a lunch or something. I got NTC in August so that month I won't be scouting at all.

I do waterfowl hunt as well.
