Interesting project... how to share dropped pin location from google earth?

I don't know how to print out the picture, but for the coordinates, find your spot on Google Earth.  Go to place a pin on your spot, then copy and past the latitude and longitude in this thread. Don't forget to include the letter for North, West, South, or East too, or you'll end up somewhere else when the reader copies and tries to see where you're at.

1964, never prouder of my spike!, opps I got thinking, it was a 2 point! my Dad and I both got 2 points, about a mile away from each other but looked like twins. strapped them onto the trunk of a 61 merc and drove 300 miles to our home! It was  great 300 miles!

My first deer the landscape hasn't changed at all, except far fewer deer due to predators.

Kind of my thoughts also. The landscape where I got my first (Methow, 1960,s) hasn't changed, went in there this past season with my granddaughter to show her because there will be a time I won't be able to get in there(4 1/2miles all up). I go in there every couple years, have never seen signs of another human, the area looks like it did over 50 years ago, the small jack pines are taller but the gully I dropped into and kicked up at least 6 bucks that were bedded (I honestly couldn't count them all) looks exactly the same. The big 5 point was the last buck out of the gully, stopped on top of the little hill and posed broadside for me at less than 50 yards, the buck fever was so intense I unloaded my 6mm on him and had to reload before finally hitting him on the second salvo , he just stood there, it was like I was supposed to get THIS buck, I will never forget it. The kids will still pull a buck out of there every once in awhile so I won't post GPS but its nothing like it was when you were able to hunt during migrations and predators were kept in check, I took 13 bucks in 13 years straight out of that exact spot, then started expanding my horizons.

My first deer was a whitey doe that dressed out at 135 lbs. I haven't been back to the road where I shot her since 1989 when I left. But as I look on Google maps, the area doesn't appear to have changed all that much.

First deer was when I was about 13 ? Don't remember exactly. Was with a bow and my dad right behind me. I'll never forget it.

Too bad it all went up in smoke shortly after and the road has been closed since.  Lots and lots of memories in these hills.
