Hi Mountain Prairie Sage breakfast sausage mix
« on: February 20, 2021, 07:00:13 PM »
Just ordered 2 packs of this mix straight from them. Could’ve gotten it for less thru Amazon but....I just can’t do that anymore! Got me some bear meat I gotta deal with soon (and share with my homeys)!

That’s pretty good seasoning.  Bear sausage is gooooood stuff!!!!   You should try tanning some also...best bear meat ever.

Back when I used to hunt bear a lot I would can all the meat. I love canned bear meat sandwich’s with Mayo and Dijon mustard on whole wheat and a bit of black pepper.....wash it down with whole milk!! Ooh laws! This bear I plan on starting with some breakfast sausage to share with the guys who helped me pack it out. I’ve already rendered down 11 pints of fat that I’ll share with ‘em. More to come! Wanna make some bacon and a ham too! I also saved the caul fat that we’ll wrap around ribeye steaks next elk camp!

Bear grease is such a wonderful thing!!   So many uses.....it should be a crime to leave they the fat go to waste.

Give their “mountain man” blend a try too!

My favorite breakfast sausage seasoning! With bear it’s awesome. Just did 60 pounds up with mule deer. 40 pounds deer, 18 pounds of pork shoulder and a few pounds of bacon. I double the minimum amount of seasoning also.
