Could you sell your wife on this?
« on: February 24, 2021, 09:31:25 PM »
Just came across this picture while searching for something else. Can't say that I like it- but it shows dedication I guess...

100% she would allow it in the man cave or cabin.  Probably not in the living room
 Or bed room.

Showed my wife, and her first response contained some words preceding the "no", that wouldn't get past the moderators.   :chuckle:  Then she softened it and said our house isn't big enough....that deer mount would have to be in a room on the other side of the property in a room she wouldn't go into.....if we could get a bigger house then sure....which she knows that's a no-go with me as we have this place paid off now and I don't want a mortgage ever again.  Plus I like this location and wouldn't move houses for a deer mount. (the wife is wise....)

In my man cave yes. However since that is the only room I can decorate, it wouldn't be welcome anywhere else in the house.

Very unique, I like it! Don't think that would make it a day in my house unless the wife was gone on a trip!

It's pretty creative, must say. But nothing that a good framed photo of the actual day of the hunt wouldn't do, at least for me!

The case of beer doesn't do it for me either but a neat idea overall. I would never have it anywhere in my house or man cave but would appreciate it somewhere else.

No beer and it would have to be the bed of the truck I actually put the deer in. I think it's a cool idea, if I had the space is think about it.

If we had the space I think my wife would do it, she hunts too so especially if it was hers or one of the daughters' bucks....

If it was my buddy's woods truck, and I could manage to steal the back of it so the first time he knew it was gone was when he saw it in my house ... she does appreciate a good practical joke ...
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
