I'm at 22 hours right now. Not a big deal. Trying to decide if I'm going to eat today or wait until tomorrow. It wasn't this easy at first. What got me through it in the beginning was drinking salt water whenever I got hungry. Make sure it's a good quality salt, not just regular table salt. I usually use Himalayan pink salt.

I think I would die if I didn't eat till lunch, I'm starving in the mornings, especially after my work out.

Here's a good what i can and cant eat, and still dont just eat freely, some still have carbs just low. remember, its not 2 carbs per package, its 2 carbs per SERVING, gotta look at that serving size!
.

These are great lists.  One thing to mention is that pretty much all "sugar free" sweets have Maltitol as the sweetener.  Maltitol has a very high glycemic index and is not much better than actual sugar.  Not all sugar substitutes are created equal.  We use a lot of stevia and Monkfruit.  There is a ton if info on the googler for a reference on sweeteners but check the glycemic index on any sweeteners you plan on using.

Amazon ( I know, evil) and Thrive have more and more keto friendly products as keto has grown in popularity  The products are still hit and miss for flavor and texture but my wife has found some pancake mix that is good and a syrup that is thick and tastes good that doesn't affect the blood sugar so there are alternatives out there to "cheat" without really cheating.  Even some of the local stores are starting to have more choices and Costco carries the Keto bread (still $4 a loaf but cheaper than most other places) that is zero carb and makes a good sammich.

If you guys need an ice cream fix, Enlightened has a new keto series, they are the ones with net carbs on the front label, just a couple per serving and they really nailed the taste and consistency.  Spendy, but a great solution for a treat.  Grocery Outlet has them from time to time for cheap.

There are other similar brands, but they aren't as good in my opinion.  Mostly they don't get the texture perfect, not as creamy.

Make sure you follow the directions and leave it on the counter for 10 minutes before attacking.

I find that "fixes" and substitutions lead to less weightloss and sabotaging ketosis

So I'm back to zero snacks and once per day eating. 1 big 2000 calorie meal per day.

Want to loose as much as possible by archery elk, and do a ton of "shed" hunting in very shed poor areas.

Once I'm good with OMAD, I'll start skipping 1 day per week and shed hunt from morning light to last light then crawl in bed.

Last elk season sucked, I couldn't cover the miles I wanted to cover, a 15 mile day meant a 5 mile next day, and I need 15 miles every day and not be so bagged.

Personally I would recommend staying away from pretty much everything that's sold at the store as a keto food. First of all, the bread, it's best to completely eliminate wheat from your diet. The "keto" bread I've seen uses wheat flour. I like to keep my diet to only real food, meaning no processed foods. And ice cream, I'm guessing it's got some sort of sweetener, and no matter what kind they use it's really best to avoid all sweeteners, whether they are artificial or natural. If you're not doing keto to lose weight or reverse any health issues you might have, then it's probably not a big deal. But me, I had/have insulin resistance and a fatty liver, and I'm trying to eliminate those conditions as soon as possible. So I do what I think some people call "clean keto," while other people do what is called dirty keto, or lazy keto.

Not to start a pro vs anti keto debate because I am all about people finding what works for them but just curious why 2k, one time per day, keto, is more attractive than a balanced 2k per day over the course of a day?

Human growth hormone, plus a decrease in insulin, which then allows your body to burn your body fat.
