Have had a SnugTop canopy on my 2004 Tundra ever since I bought it new 17 years ago.   Only had one leak issue in the canopy years ago around the rear brake light, but some silicone caulk fixed that.   Eventually after all the rattling on many forest roads and non-roads, it broke off one of the screw locks in the fold down front window (2004 Tundras have the rear window go down, and SnugTop matched it by having the canopy window unlatch and flip down so you could pass through stuff into the canopy).  But otherwise the SnugTop has held up well. Spent many years sleeping in the canopy as well.

But will be looking to unload it soon as I'm in the middle of a custom canopy build to replace it.  Since my truck is now just a 100% fishing/hunting rig, I'm building a stronger canopy so my 14ft Hobie Angler can fit on the roof (boat rollers).  And a little more height inside.

But the SnugTop took care of me and my gear for many years.

I bought a Leer for my F150.
Paying for the auto locking feature synced to my factory Ford fob was the best thing.
The interior LED quit working after about a year.
Wish I had ordered it with the roof rack rails.

Leers are great, very well built. One could say they’re the Toyota of the canopy world  :chuckle:

Funny, I haven’t had to reengineer anything and other than the interior light, it doesn’t reek of ‘lowest cost bidder’.
Can’t say the same about Toyota.
