just sold my 2006 Toyota sequoia with 170k miles and bought a new one.    Never had a single issue with it, wife just wanted a newer one after 15 years.

“I’m mad at Toyota and I made a promise to tell everyone about it!!!   I’m so loud and boisterous that I will just keep posting negative stuff.....so much so that people will just think I’m bitter and my attempt to get back at Toyota will fall on deaf ears.”

Does that about sum this thread up??

Doubt he would be dumb enough to go that far

Had a 1st gen Toyota Tacoma and a 4-Runner.  Tacoma had 365k miles and 4-Runner had 260k miles.  Never saw this issue or had this failure.  Had to replace other items though from normal wear and tear.
Cut em!

All on pavement

Why would a company engineer these to fail like this?

Imagine if they weren’t on pavement?

All on pavement? Might want to look at the photos again  :dunno: And showing a bunch of photos without context doesn't tell us anything.

My 2001 has 388,000 on it.  You guys got me worried now.  I need to check into this before hunting season this year. :yike:  I put a lot of miles on gravel.

Might want to look into buying snivel-protection insurance, because Toyota is out to get you.

I went to high school with a guy that whined so much we called him "Squeegee"
"Squeeg" for short.
Good guy most of the time, but the other 10%, the male Debbie Downer.
