I believe a guy would still have to buy a license and tag. Non-resident hunting license is $100, Brown Bear tag is $1,000, Caribou is $650, Goat is $600, Moose is $800, Musk Ox is $2,200. Typically when applying in Alaska you have to buy a hunting license before you can apply for special draw then buy your six chances for the draw you want.
Too rich for my blood. Plus it could be pretty hard to book a guide that short notice. Many or most are booked out 1 or 2 years. Maybe the controlled hunt guides are more flexible?

At first I thought it seemed pretty cool, but then I realized if I draw I'm probably going to be throwing 10-15k at this thing by time I'm done.
