If you can only do a couple of hours, do the last two hours before dark... Black Wooley Bugger or Sparkle Leech at the North end.  Good luck

How did your trip to Lenore go?  Was anything hatching?  Any fish rising yet...?  Thinking about heading back up there soon.

Sadly... it didn't work out.  We drove right by it several times and just couldn't make it happen.  Life with 3 young kids.  Just one of those trips where nothing really went the way we planned.

Sorry to get you guys hyped up for a report.  Looks like the Lahontans remain on my bucket list.

Periodically over the weekend I’d see 1-2 people from the creek north.

Been a long time since I fished Lenore (Back in the early 90's).  Was always best right before dark.  But back then we would catch and release about 50 a day.

Yup. That was back in the day.  Not like that anymore.
