We’ve been kicking this around for a year or so now thanks to Covid. Any Kitsap people out there that want to meet up for some beers? I was thinking something like a Thursday towards the end of April (maybe the 22nd) if there’s interest

That’s why I was hoping to do it during the week. Between spring bear and Turkey season, I wouldn’t want anyone to miss days in the field

I think Hope & Drops in Silverdale has outdoor seating. Great burgers as well.

@Aginor, pick your date and your time and just see who can make it. There is no good time for everyone, between family, hunting, fishing, spring chores, spring sports and everything else there is always plenty of life going on. Just do it! and THANK YOU for it!
Once you have it set I will tag a few others that have made one or wanted to make the next.

Scott you are welcome to show up. It is an open invite to members. You may well meet a person or two who shares your interests and can work out details from there. Please understand that a lot of folks take their hunting very serious and a hunting partner is commitment! If a person is taking leave or time away form their loved ones they will be depending on you to do the same. I got my dad in on the meetup. We will be shopping for our trip and then headed to dine with some new friends. I'm really looking forward to it, this will be my first Kitsap meetup.

So I called Hops & Drops today and they do not take reservations. I will call day of and get on the list though. However, their party size limit is 10 with Covid, so we would need a headcount to make sure we are less than that. The alternative is we pick another place. I’m a classy dude, so I could shoot for Applebee’s if someone wants to do a 2 for $20 date 😉

Is there a polling feature on here? It would be nice to know how many people are planning on coming so that we know if we need to change the location or not. It’s two days out, so everyone should know at this point. If you plan on coming, please say so

Even though I am a Lewis County resident, I might be up for having a campfire on my cousins property at Kingston Crossing sometime this summer.

We had 15 people Tuesday without any issues...
.
Currently clearing scotchbroom and blackberries for camping/parking and will be there and of May for -3.9 tides, and end of June for the -4...
.
But, maybe we could plan something in July or August...

They also have friends that like sitting around a campfire..

If you want to meet at an establishment. There is that Mexican restaurant across the street...

They have been riding quads over the 17 acres, probably parking for anybody that wants to show...

You clip one bush, help pull one root..

I had a blast. It was great to be out with my Dad talking some hunting with fellow enthusiast. I love telling stories and drinking root beer so it was the perfect setup. Hopefully no one noticed I was only half done with my burger while everyone else was calling for the checks. It's a common occurance for me. Looking forward to the next meetup.
