I agree, ever since I saw Jaws as a youngster I'll never swim in deepish sea water ever. Period.
I longlined back in the "Derby Days" when Halibut seasons were 48, 24, and 12 hours long, the WORST thing was hook after hook with a big head, or just lips attached. Shine a light out and there is a pod of Orca that is picking fish off your groundline. Sometimes, they'd just take a big bite out of it, which was just as bad. I always wondered how much of the quota went to them. They'd do the same with Black Cod, only the season didn't close the next day, so you had a chance to get away from them (until they found you again).

I watched a bull killer whale blow through the surf and end up on the beach to get some salmon. Then it had to flop around to get back in the water so it could do it a dozen more times.
